Teaching students to write well and revise is much more engaging when they can follow along digitally, highlighting or emphasising certain aspects of the writing process along the way. I have been successful teaching "writing laboratory" classes all the formal aspects of good writing practice: sentence revising, sentence imitating, parts of speech identification, sentence combining, and oodles of other educationally sound, research-based practices.
Come see what we've been doing with our budding writers at the junior high level! Plus, meet some of our writers and see how they are using their learning to inform their narrative writing styles. Be prepared! You may want their autographs.
